First time I'm in agreement with this crazy person. I don't want my wife to cook, I want her to be spending her time at the gym and the salon looking beautiful for me.

I can cook very well, but hardly cook. But it a good question....why man want to marry a woman for her cooking skills. he should be marrying her because he is in love with her as gaalda say. may be you can love jaariyad for cooking for you.

I can honestly say there's nothing more unattractive than some woman who constantly smells of suugo and cajiin. Toiling in the kitchen day & night as though she's feeding a whole city. Hygiene has always been a priority for me. Everything must be done in moderation. A woman who can cook is vital to herself first and to her children. If she cooks for me, wonderful. If she doesn't, I won't cry home to my mama about it. I don't think there's any woman who can cook as well as my mother did anyway, not holding for my breath for anyone else.

Cooking? What is cooking? What is there to cook?

First you folks mix things up...Cooking food is the easiest task a human being can do, specially in the west where you don't have to visit the "suuq" every freaking day and you have to toil for even making tea...
Starting the fire and then "Afuuf and Babis" the charcoal till it is ready..Getting water was a toil in some places...

In this era what is the difficulty? Nothing...

If the girl does not know how to cook, her husband should teach her..it takes a matter of one week or less.

Bring to me any girl that does not know how to cook and with in a week she will be a chef..a great one..and it is free for some of you

Believe me knowing how to cook should be your least concern..Waa wax la sixi karo

Anyway most of the Somalis don't cook that much..all they know is baasto, baris and hilib ari...

This situation, a yr or two I would've agreed, but at this current day, I can say the only thing I would want her to do is have my hot shower running by the time I make it home from work. The rest I can handle, because I've evolved and became a picky eater. altho it's give and take type of situation at times.

^ Your hot shower? You mean like she has to go into the bathroom in advance & turn the shower tap on? I thought that was the least difficult thing to do, well unless you live back home & have to take a bucket of water with you into the bathroom.
