This is exagerated but there is an underlying truth.

The Saudis have been lying about their reserves since the 80's.
but they wont be running out by 2030, the estimates i heard where mid 60's.

While UAE, Kuwait and Iraq and Venezualas are expected to last till 2090 -2100 ~

All the more reason for these oil countries to diversify. I like what Qatar and UAE are doing right now. Qatar in fact is the country that I truly admire. There is one organization in Qatar called the Qatar Foundation. The Qatar Foundation is an organization that seeks to transform Qatar from a country wholly dependent on its resources to a knowledge based society. This is the way forward. Their resources might last them for 100 or 200 years but they are thinking ahead.

Virtually all the major oil producing countries right now (other than US, Canada) depend on their oil to maintain a high quality of life and even to exist. Some countries like the ones I listed above are currently in the transition stage but more is needed to be done.

Same thing with the UAE as well, they're even offering some concessions up to new countries when they finally go up for renegotiation soon.

:Heh: Knowledge based society? With what human capital? Attempts to educate Gulf Nationals en masse are doomed for perpetual failure, there is zero motivation.

I don't think it will be that soon they still have one of the largest proven oil reserves in the world just after venezuela. it's actually the emiratis and qataris who will run out soon - that's why they are looking into tourism.

your arab attitude disgusts me.
thinking isreal is a special magical place, where the people have super powers.

isreal is not so great my friend, its the arab that are so terribly stupid that they make everyone shine
Calm down akhi, They are not great indeed, the arabs have been bribed and fooled and can only blame themselves for a grim future that lies ahead of them. The plague.
