I didn't say she wasn't Hawiye or HG enough for me, I couldn't give a rats arse about Hawiye or HG and people on this form know me for that which is why I get called a shegato many times and even get accused of being Marehan or MJ but hey like I said I don't give a rats arse. But because she is in the parliament representing Salebans she is forced to support a Saleban or another HG person. Personally if I was in the parliament and not representing a tribe I would vote for Farmajo myself because I like who he is as a person and what he is all about and don't see him through the tribe goggles but however if I was in the parliament for the sole reason of representing a tribe I must give my support none other than the tribe I'm representing. Do you understand? It's only logical.

I agree its logic, but how do you know that she voted for someone else? I dont think somalis are as qabiil free as they like to portray themselves, she most likely voted for someone from her own tribe.

The lady's interview provided a perspective and real experience in one of the worst times for the Somali people of which her people and her husband's people were the main aggressors against each other. It is refreshing to hear her personal story and how that inspired her life's work.
