The President was never against the prospect of Jubbaland nor was his aim to appoint a regional admin for that particular region. Him saying otherwise has always been tabloid spins.

As outlined in his audio speech; he mentions three crucial points:

1) Somalia's government will never accept an external backed administration for Jubbaland.
2) It is the role of the Somali government to assist and aid the Somalis in Jubbaland to errect a regional administration.
3) Though the area is no longer a bastion for al-Shabaab, its remanants still roam several districts, rural areas and nearby villages of Kismaayo and their elimination takes precedence over establishing a regional administration.

From the informative posts above, I can only conclude that the "president", Govt, HAG et al, were always behind the formation of J/Land. .
Lets all focusing on completely annihilating AS from all lands, particularly Xamar/central regions.

Like Warsame said the president was never against the formation of the state, only desperate individuals were creating non stop propaganda against him, the same people screaming this phantom HAG like ghetto hoodrats always talk about the illuminati. Anyways now that this is behind us, things will get interesting pretty soon because there are some elements within the Jubbaland camp that do not fully grasp the concept of federal state but inshallah that will be corrected.
