if you ask a hawiye which he likes somaliland or Puntland, he will answer Somaliland eventhough puntlad still wants to be part of Somalia.
the hawiye dont hide their relationship with isaaqs, but the Isaaqs likes to sweep it under the carpet.

People from Hargeysa also have assets and businesses in Mogadishu. As the two largest Somali cities in existence it makes sense for various people to have ties there.
