@Talo - step 1 was brutal, surprised I made it through. About to sit for Step 2-CK next year, inshallah.

I don't miss 1st and 2nd year, it'll get easier once you start MS3. Good luck with your Step 1.

I can't wait to start my PGYs and actually make some money instead of all these student loans.

@Talo - Yeah, I used the USMLEWorld's Qbank for my step 1 and I'm still using the Qbank for my Step 2-CK which I will sit for in February and Step 2-CS which I will take in May next year. I even have the android app for it on my cell phone. Hated theory though, Step 2's are much better in terms of the type of questions asked. Lucky you, sxb. My scholarships alone don't cover the cost of medicine & living stipend, my school is insanely expensive. Not too stressed about it though, as long as I graduate next year, I'm happy.

Well im going to school in my state of residence so the cost of "living" is deferred because my family isn't too far although i live with iskaabulo close cousins who let me by on rent.

sxb, check your pm.

I think of all the Somali clans on Somalinet; OG members are the most educated :up:

Koronto;
Are you going to be an MD or PA? A nephew of mine is doing PA which only requires three years of medical school and the money is good!! Man, I wish I could go back to school because anything healthcare these days pays well; whether is a pharmacist, pa, MD or even nurses. The average nurse salary is close to 70K a year in the States.
