I suspect foul play. If anyone was to die from embarrassment, shouldn't it be the receptionist who forwarded the call? Isn't there some sort of screening process before the call is forwarded to a nurse or doctor?

She was the one who forwarded the call, due to a staff shortage (no receptionist).

Though it's unfortunate a light-hearted prank acted as a catalyst to someone's suicide, I don't think this could have been predicted by the DJs.
