lugooyo, it was you who made the comment about punishment, thus, I was merely responding to it. So, IÃ¢Â€Â™d throw the same response back to you, YOU ARE NOT GODS MESSENGER, therefore, you have no right to say it's a punishment or it isn't. As, for the hurricane, we are use to it, we live here and we know these kinds of events will take place yearly, the only thing we can do is better prepare. Furthermore, IÃ¢Â€Â™m not denying that god will "cadaab" whom ever god wills, but to say such and such are/is being "cadaabed" is not in your position to say.

Why are so defensive about this issue? I think ALLAH knows what he's doing punishment or not.

Perhaps you should move to some where in the country where the weather is more predictable....being poor Somali qaxooti and getting hit by hurricane year after year isnÃ¢Â€Â™t good for your budget Wink

Dhaga, i'm not being defensive, i'm just saying that it's not in anyones position to say that it's a "punishment", we can't know what is gods reason, it's a plasphomy to say they are being "cadaabed" that's all i'm saying.

Let me get this...Allah wants to demonstrate his power. To do so he chooses to KILL AND DESTROY. However, he can also show his power without killing anyone -- like changing the orbit of the earth, making the sun rise from west, turning water into solid or simply appear in the sky and do alot of magical things but he chose to KILL.
