Agent,
Shiiid ! Another learning curve like Office 2007. I still struggle with it, 5 years later.
Siciid,
Yep, the Freeware Ubuntu alternatives have a steep learning curve. Have you tried Wine ? My butt got saved once because I had Ubuntu dual booted on my machine and a virus shut down the XP partition but fortunately I was able to access it via Ubuntu.
P.S. Ubuntu makes for a great cybercafe software - Low maintenance and virus free

Aw I have tried Wine on Linux Mint, a software that will enable you to download Windows programmes. It didn't work for me much back then. They say Ubuntu and Linux Mint
are virus free but there is a tiny percentage of hackers that know how to by-pass the online sharing system of those operators which makes it hard for hackers. The virus risk is
low indeed compared to Windows which 95% of hackers target.

Do people actually go out of their way and buy Windows operating systems? I buy a new laptop roughly once every 3 years and I stick with whatever operating system is installed. I am on Windows Vista at the moment. I hear Ubuntu is good. Go with that. Windows is just garbage.

Buying operating system? Who does that? I've Windows 7 Ultimate (& XP Professional in a PC I gave to a friend) and I downloaded both of them from the Piratebay, validated, genuine copies. Fuck Microsoft!
