Ofcourse they will look at him as a waqooyi man since the entire region he comes from are secessionists even his own province. this doesn't mean the professor is disbelieving in the holy cause as SL media try to project like they finally found their Mahdi. he is only disappointed in the mentality of the politicians who mostly are leftovers of the old generation politicians. he said some nice words about SL so what? all the die hard unionists even the southerns will all acknowledge what SL achieved not a big deal.

However, the prof will continue the good work and carry on delivering his message  :som:

That question should be put to the AMISOM soldiers not this poor professor. I bet you their answer and yours would differ.

Khalid Try harder

Unlike you the good man Samatar feels home in Somalia and will Inshallah gets his fair position when Somalia gets stronger, did you forget that last time Somalia had a real government ( The Kacaan) Dulbahante was vice president and Gadabursi was finance minister the real sons of somalia from the north ( we know who they are) were trusted with the political and financial power of Somalia, get rid of the Cuqdaad, the intelligent people always got the top positions in Somalia when ever it had a strong government regardless of their regional background. Somaliland wil Inshallah fail.....

Did you know Issa and Gadabursi have as much representatives in parliament as Abgaal and HG?

Gadabursi are good people. they are the model Somalis. No one comes close to Samaroon in class and professionalism and Somalinimo. Gadabursi are A1. Gadabursi will get presidency one day inshallah. but the country is just way too diverse. everyone can't be expecting something right away.

Now instead we are discussing professor Ahmed. We go after tribe names.

I disagreed with Ahmed professor for first place by going and joining this puppet government. He has bad advisors. You know Hiil Qaran is hutu party you know what I mean.

He should seek advise one of the well known people, people like Saciid afisoone.

I would have advise him well.

I see you've finally accepted your people willingly support SL.

What changed your mind? For a few short months ago you were
adamant your people had no choice in the matter and were being "forced".
I guess reality hit home

As for the good professor, I hope now he sees sense, and comes back home.
We could really do with someone like him  :D

he probably wasn't lonely and neglected because he's reer Waqooyi, its probably because he is an American and has lived here for so long that the gap is so wide between him and the locals. The guy didn't have his family or whatever either. The locals of Xamar not being from his clan or region may just be icing on the cake.

Gudabuursi are the most noble and educated people in the north, we must welcome them with presidency, vice PM or any other notable possession to show our appreciation for such a wadani tribe.

Professor samatar is one of the best educated Somalis and the a very good orator when speaking in both Somali and English , but his energy and time was wasted , he wasted it for the past 20 years the man was told honestly that he cannot become prime minister of Somalia because of his qabiil simple as that. He was heart broken because samatar is not a qabiliste and he was dealing with people who rejected him because of his qabiil. The most learned Somali got only 8 votes from 274 members of Parliament the double PHD holder professor Ahmed samatar. Fah him living in the states played a significant role to but he was specifically talking about the Walanweyn mind set that he was not allowed to really take part of the political process in Somalia and was excluded when it came to the walanweyn inner circles maybe he was a bit naive we can say. Lets not generalize all walanweyn people ofcourse the ordinary citizens of Somalia are kind and welcoming people and have a good heart the best among the somalis one can say but the political elite is rotten and are tribalits to the core and are walanweyn chauvinists President from Somalia Prime Minister from Somalia speaker of parliament from Somalia 9 out of the 10 ministers are from Somalia out 230 Members of Parliament are all from Somalia 44 are from Somaliland originally. Siday ku socotto ictraafki Somaliland ba so dhow :o
