im hanafi and i can even pray in af somali but the imam abou haifa was a persian so he was making it easier for these al shu3oobiyiin while al shafi3i al hashimi says NO no prayer without reading it in arabic. accordibg to the scholars the ajmi gets ajar reading fir his reading the quran even if he doesnt understand what it saying.
