900,000 ethnic Somali people live in Kenya.
There are currently over 100,000 Asians, most living in the major urban areas of Nairobi and Mombasa with others living in rural areas.

You know I would actually like to see some figures from reputable sources of the Somali contribution to Kenya's economy. I would have a hard time believing it is any more than 5%.

I've been to Eastleigh, Mombasa and all the other Somali enclaves in Kenya, and what I found was some 97% of these highly cherished Somali "entrepreneurs" are really nothing more than resellers of washed up Chinese goods from dirty shacks. I saw no factories, no large supermarkets, or chain franchises, no ports or large commercial facilities, really nothing that could meaningfully contribute to Kenyas economy.
