People that deserve a statue in Mogadishu..

1-Sayidka.
2- Aden Cade.
3- Mohamed Siyad Barre (2 statues one in military outfit one in official suit)
4- Ahmed Gurey.
5- Xaawa Taako.
6- and one statue for a prominent cultural figure, legendary artist or a poet.

May Allah be please with him was a good man who fought against coward and tyrannical regime. He didn't have anything to do with civil war but brainless Somalis who couldn't come together did. However, his main objective was to free the country from the grip of strong and ruthless dictator named Afwayne, which he did and we thank him for that.

I can not fathom how this character can even be remotely "controversial". By controversial I mean, that there can be a debate on whether this man was a villain or not. Indeed, the parameters of any debate to do with him should be centered on how very awful he was or how very, terribly, awful he was. What a ghastly proposition it is to even suggest that we make a tribute to one of the figures that made it so horribly hard for Somalis to reconcile.
