The argument is better suited if you say Somalis were Muslims before the Arabs i.e. the whole peninsula, Sham, etc. Because the Muslims did conquer all that land but the people did not automatically become Muslims at first

If being allies with usa means apostacy then there are no muslims today.
Alsp many muslims live in usa, some are us soldiers.
Besides there is no kufr in diplomatic relationships with non-muslims.

Actually, people identical genetically, physically, linguistically, and culturally to "true Somalis" lived in Somalia for many centuries before the 9th century. So this is false.
