This just highlights the latest development. Somaliland's position in the conference was made clear to their government, that they would be considered a part of Somalia. While Somalia would be co-hosting the event. Somaliland made the clearest decision inline with their policy, but if this is the best decision for Somaliland shall be seen vis-a-vis what Somalia comes out with.


Somaliland govt needs to begin a campaign to convince its public that Somalia's progress and attention is better for them. Because they are like it or not intertwined internationally. And that it should reap the reward of it like they are doing in Turkey, which Somalia opened the door to them.
