I swear for the longest time I thought ina Baxar was a female before I discovered the opposite.

Navy , that's because you're not very familiar with somali customs .
Very rarely , almost never is a woman called the " daughter"{ina} of so and so . Even though , ibn and bint are written the same in Somali which is "ina ", there is a difference with the way it is pronouced . Not your fault my dear , I understand since you grew up in Masr .

Sorry Nabeela , Fah and Helwa , I was just avoiding an unecessary confrontation , call it self preservation, tactical withdrawal "deboitement " .... very important , ma'ogtahay ? :lol:

Ina baxar lol I think you should stick with ina baxar, never really liked that sahangalbeed character, for me, it wasn't ina baxar.

navy, ina is used for both male and females in somali just like bin and bint. However just looking at the written form you cannot tell which is which but they are pronounced differently.
