Back to the topic.Apart from Hobyo Shell also had offshore oil license blocks in eastern Somaliland coastal areas namely Bendar Harshau and Dab Qua-1.
Much of its old block licenses were revoked after they refused to share data with the previous Gov of Sland. As a result Companies like
Ophir Energy, Genel Energy, Jacka filled their position.

How does one go about buying land in Hobyo? How much are the prices right now? Anyone know?

You`d probably need the permission of the local nabaddoon.
If you wanted to invest and develop the land you`d probably be welcome.
However, if land speculation was your aim they might not be so accommodating.
