What are the lowly Boon Marehan homeless peasants doing in this thread? From their bitter tones one would think Siilaanyo impregnated their mothers and
abandoned them.

On the topic. The President of Somaliland is improving his diplomatic relations with the International Community day by day. He was also invited to the USA by the American
Gov.

Cameron's government invested a lot of prestige and energy into the second upcoming Somalia conference. There are transnational reasons for the aggressive British diplomatic activities in the Arab Spring and now vying to become Somalia's important European partner which is very much hurt by the Turkish issue.

Siilaanyo being a 5th tier provisional "leader" of a backwater corner of a backwater country being helped will be asked to toe the line.

I am confident Siilaanyo will give guarantee to attemd in that meeting.

The pm staunchly rejects scotlands calls for succession.
Mark my words his gov even future govs will never entertain calls for succession.

Enjoy your semi-auto state with your 2 big brothers next door (to the right).

succession??? somaliland's case is no succession young piglet, you might want to learn some history beside the kitchen gossip of edo Mulaaxo and edo Baydan. The somaliland case is simple and normal 2 territories that joined 1960 and now departed. simple as that and that has no resonance with the case of scotland.

Again, I will say it again, why wasn't the President of a supposedly independent country not given the traditional Head of State salutations always given to heads of states when visiting 10 Downing Street. This is a sign of complete disrespect and very embarrassing.

Good luck Somaliland, but let us not jump into conclusions. People do not just meet each other for fun, there is always a vested interest. From what we know there is going to be the first ever coming out debut for Somalia in London in a matter of few weeks. Uk is going to be unveiling the reborn Somalia, by hosting this conference and letting Somalia have the prestige of co-hosting. Though I very much doubt Somalia will be give as much control as they would like. Nevertheless it is still a great achievement. Now, if a huge part of Somalia is missing from that conference, it can only be considered a limited success.

At every turn, Somaliland's recognition, attention, is all invariably linked to Somalia in one way or another. Nevertheless, great step for Siilaanyo.

 Damn Wallahi, how is it that i, as a young student back in 2007/8 when i was in my GCSE's, i got a better reception at Downing St (it was a top students visit when Gordon Brown was PM) than President Siilaanyo

Cameron stressed his desire somaliland to be there. Silanyo would likely agree to be there. Lets see!!

Rightwing what do you think somaliland should do? I mean they already are going to be given a part of Somalia's aid, scholarships, and other services tied to Somalia, such as the communique that was signed in Turkey. The only difference is this will actually bear more tangible support, from a vast amount of countries, in a international setting. Somaliland is not a recognized country, so its no surprise they would be under Somalia, and they stand to benefit considering it is for Somalia as a whole. They didn't demand that Turkey recognize them, or Somalia before they signed the deal with Somalia. So what gives now?

What we worry about most is when we sit in the same room with many somali representatives running side by side in parrellel way, for example, Galmudug, Ximan & Xeeb, Puntland, jubaland + Hassan sheikh.
Otherwise as you said we have nothing to lose as we are not recognized country if somaliland amnd one representative of Somalia show up there.

If parts of Somalia would show up it would be most likely be the triumvirate Puntland, Somalialand, FG.

Galmudug hardly exists, ximan is just a one city admin, jubbaland does not exist, ahlul sunnah doesn't exist in galgadudd no more.

There is nothing that is tied to somalia, the current agreement signed in Turkey is just dealing with Turkish aid nothing more and Turkey will assisted somaliland directly , nothing is tied to somalia what so ever.

The President of burundi with some mayor he wears a suit

Image

When he meats the walanweyn Merehaan Prime Minister saaacid farax

He wears a track suits that is unrespectful and is simply uninterested just look at the face of the bantu President, by the way if it wasn't for this bantu lad there wouldnt even be a Prime minister position in Somalia
Image

By the way why are the Merehaan boys so interested and fixated with Somaliland, and who it meets or the reception it gets among the walanweyns you seem to be the most interested, one would think they would be the least interested with in the walanweyn societies i dont even see the hawiyes here. its like a full house i see Voltage i see perfect order i see eaglehawk i see grandpa i see advo , all the jebertis i see is you. I was more expecting the majeerteens original dervish never Merehaan. The most emotionally attached walanweyns to Somaliland is Merehaan with in the Koonfurians and some sections of the Hawiye. The dhabayacos are different kind of walanweyns they see us , as their great example they idolise Somalilanders. I have been observing walanweyns the past few months how they react to Somaliland. With in the walanweyns the rahanweyn and Absames are the least involved and could care less about what somaliland does. Consequently i think we should let Merehans come to hargeisa and socialize with us ,and try to get rid of their attachment to SL. i reject siciids approach hostilities towards Merehaan and calling them names. They want to socialize with us because there is an attachment, i dont know where it comes from. But there is something, so lets deal with that.
