A lot of person's self-image, self-esteem, self-respect can be related to how they view their own race/ethnicity. This is the reason why so many somalis who have inferiority complex issues who lie to themselves and others and say they are related to arabs or pretend to act like madows. It's because they don't want anything to do with somalia.
