  :deadrose:

So let's recap - the Somali male was responsible for using his qabiil to engage in fights. That's what your worth boils down to in history - the ones who fought each other. And you sound so proud it almost pains me burst your bubble

The Somali woman had to literally fend for herself. Set up her own home, dismantle it when it was time to move again, pack up the little they had onto camels. Their little sons had to look after the animals. All while the "adult" Somali men sat around under trees gossiping and deciding which fight to pick next - they were the cause of the lawlessness.

I can see why you wouldn't want this tradition to change. Doing nothing and being catered to is most attractive to the simplest of humans, but surely it's about time to invest more in yourselves, develop some form of self respect and dare I say, to grow up. :usure:

Wallahi it is getting bad, all I demand is a proper home cooked meal and some niiko in the bed, nothing more nothing less. What is wrong with these new age Xalimos who rather order takeout than cook for their man and family? I wholeheartedly agree, it is a dying art, my own sisters are terrible and the future looks bleak for us young Faraaxs. Hooyo's cooking will not be there forever and the possibility of losing this macaan necessity scares me to the core.

I propose we start a campaign where we have workshops for these useless Xaliimos otherwise even Abu Tyrone al-Jamaicani won't even want them.

SAVE OUR SAAB, imagine coming home to find greasy fried chicken from KFC :damn:

from what i see...hoyoyinka raising girls in the west(with the exception of few) for the most part don't engage their teen daughters in domestic matters. girls just go to school come home and eat mom's cooking...mom's have a hand in the lack there of..so its best to split the onus 50/50 in this case.

Thanks to his vast network of kinfolks, he was able to guarantee that his property, and his family's interests were well looked after. In the lawless land of the Somalis, it was up to the men to take the law into their hands. For this, the Somali woman was willing to be subservient and look after the needs of her husband and family, given that the man was worthy of her submission.
The male role is easily replaceable by the governments that we live under.
Females used to respect their husbands since they were the bread winners of the family.
Today women dont have to rely on their men anymore because they have governments that
are willing to hand them free of charge on all things necessary to make a living.
Such are:
Food stamps, housing, medical & schooling for their kids.
These used to be the mans role as the husband but not anymore.

Only lazy women complain about cooking & try to cover up their laziness by complaining of gender inequality.

this subject has touch a nerve in the somali men of snet. this propect must be confronted now whilst its 'fresh'. i say saixiibyaal lets start from our house. if you have a sister tell her to cook intead of hooyo. i am exempt because i dont have a sister. Reeg iska dhiga. we even had a tradition where the girl would not get married unless she could cook. now its gone downhill. if you can get a xalimo that can atleast show you where the kitchen is you should consider yourself lucky.
