I agree with whoever mentioned being content. Pretty vital.

Basically most people mentioned the same things. I would summarise it into three categories. Having something to do, someone/people to love and something to look forward to.

I don't think secret to life is shrouded in secrecy as you said. The opposite really, simplicity is something we don't pay attention to and its the key to unlocking this life. Not only simplicity is spiritual but also shields you from all things not good.

Olive, take few things in life serious, your family and your good contribution to this world but not yourself. Try to find peace in yourself for you and eff everything else. That's how I try to live my life.

It depends on how we define "simplicity". Unfortunately, we live in a materialistic world where wants and needs create the platform for answering the issue of life. I don't think this is issue can be answered using only spiritual discourses. We need to look at the realm of materialism.
