Ok, you have a point there. But I am saying, if you can get entertained by a long distance relationship with someone whom you have already been with, then why not give the online dating one a try. Its just a matter of time before you get to know the person well. Coz at at the end of the day both relationships involve phone calls, emails, video calls through Skype or any other means, for the sake of communication. Basically they are similar except for the fact that you have not met the person face to face, but meeting the person is inevitable as long as the relationship is being fed well.PrettyPrincess wrote:DeeqaDagan wrote:Online dating = Long distance relationship. Having a long distance relationship with someone you know, who for instance had to move away while you were still together is not the same as having a long distance relationship with someone you dont know in person but just met online is not the same. Do you agree?
No. I can't imagine myself doing that.PrettyPrincess wrote:Have you ever dated anyone online?

One could argue that sitting on Snet is a waste of time aswell but that didnt stop you from loggin in, did it nowRabshoole wrote:What I think of online dating is that it's a waste of time.
Why not? Dating has never been easier. Technology has become a main factor in our lives; Skype, facebook etc' not to mention all these datingsites, online dating has become epidemic in our modern world. Is it fair to say you're perhaps old fashioned?misterioso wrote:No. I can't imagine myself doing that.PrettyPrincess wrote:Have you ever dated anyone online?
I know. Sometimes online dating does seem as the better alternative to dating. You dont have to dress to impress ,just sit in your Pj's' grap your laptop and seperate the good apples from the bad ones quicker then ever plus if you look at it from a religious perspective' it brings alot less fitnah, doesnt it?ihatewritingessays wrote:online dating is a better way to find a man whoès serious and seeking commitment. + its easier to pull the plug on the one that have bad intentions or just wanna fool around.
whats even better is being set up by close friends because they know you well and have your best interest in mind. Good luck!
