I think you're mixing two names with each other, there is a city in liban zone which is dooloow and there is a region wardheer which has two names.

Doolow and Doollo.

BerBera is an ancient trade city and hosts the second biggest port in Somalia if DhuusoMareeb can headquarter a region I dont see why Berbera cant. Logic

No I am let me clarify this for you again whilst wardheer is within the doollo area, the town of wardheer itself is not has never been called doollo. It is like saying the city of muqdisho is called banadir.

Sxb I agree that berbera is an ancient city and it should have been honoured with a regional status from the begin. But today as thing stand there is no viable region that can be called saaxil, it is not geographical possible. Unless you also think that daadmadheedh, salaal, saraar, cayn, badhan, gabilay and ceel-afweyn are also true regional areas.
