My father (AUN) went with Jirde Xuseen (AUN) and Abdullahi Omaar (AUN) to attend a funeral for a Sacad Muuse community leader in Baydhabo in the early 1960s. When they arrived in Baydhabo they were surprised on how large the community was and how long they have lived in the area.

Abdulahi Omaar (AUN) was from Baydhabo. Jirde Xuseen (AUN) was reer Hargaysa and moved to Xamar after the illegal union. His businesses were all in Hargaysa and Berbera before 1960.

I know a Isaaq habar awal girl that goes to my school who claims gedo and is from luuq. I always thought it was strange and she was an outlier but now it makes sense. They marry with marexaan and other locals.
