titanium you are a typically liar, very common among u somalians but i blame ur former italian owners for this trickery

our constitution does not mention about talking to somalia, but it was actually a law passed by parliament which originally stated to not talk with somalia but then silanyo the pragmatist changed this law to give us more leeway but with the same non-negotiable goal, INDEPENDENCE

why are u also saying we refused in 1960 to unite, we were hardcore for somaliweyn but our experience post 1960 will for sure make sure we wont shoot ourselves in the foot again

Why are you lying? It was the people that was the driving force behind the unification and not the politicians and yes our people protested when they realized the betrayal but that was after unification, when they realized what they got themselves into.

Today, the only thing our people want is international recognition and sovereignty. Trust me, we won't make the same mistakes.

Crazy Faraweynes

I don't need to lie. I bring facts to the table backed up by sources as you can see in the previous page. I love to source evidence. But for the constitution thing, I apologize for that. I heard that from a Somalilander.

As for the driving force behind unification, it is up to one's personal interpretation of events. But I am well aware that the politicians hurried the unification because they themselves couldn't agree on who will rule due to a clan struggle. And a attempted coup did occur less than a year later.

I wish Somaliland well though. I am not a xaasid :sland:
