Sahal, how is this different from the last 8 times where you said government will recognize Madoobe?
Listen, the ONLY thing that has become apparent is the fact you "want" government to accept Kismaayo's situation brought on by Kenya because you believe is "pragmatic" and devotes attention elsewhere.
The last time the battles in Kismaayo, it took four days. Every single one of those days you were starting a different topic about Farax Abdiqadir/President going back him PM to sign deal with Madoobe.
The government can't just recognize Madoobe. The biggest variable in this whole manner is Marehan and Marehan is preparing. Cabaas will be marching south with the largest Somali oriented troops to walk in force to Kismaayo. Even if Kenya is accepted, the conditions that governed an agreement will be severely tested and either way it will be a plus for us because it would mean 1). Kenya will be neutered and not interfere like its brazen interference before or 2.) Kenya's position of power will be removed from Kismaayo which is a plus.
As for Madoobe, he hasn't even come back to Kismaayo from Addis. The man hasn't been in Kismaayo since before Barre fight. Allahu aclam but there are reports the man's handlers did NOT ever want to see full fight involving Marehan in Kismaayo and are holding on to him until better way of moving their project is best.
It never will work.

Ahmed Madoobe has been in Nairobi after his Puntland visit meeting with the IC and negotiating with the presidents delegation lead by Farax Abdulkadir, a Jubbaland envoy has also been in Mogadishu on his behalf dealing with the government.
After the deal, the Gedo issue will be resolved through dialogue as major Gedo stakeholders support the process while others don't.The Government supported groups will fall in line with the new SFG position. The old JVA guard will have to accept reality.

If the Govt recognizes Madobe, the game is effectively over.

Too little too late.
If Hassan Sheik does this, we will chuck him like Mohamed Morsi.

I pretty sure if Hassan had a Choice he would love to continue on the JVA routine, but his Presidency is on the line now, so he is dropping the weak link JVA.AbdiWahab252 wrote:Too little too late.

Oxymoron is funny. Marehan are barely in this Jubbaland thing yet they have the 2nd position and would get two waziirs. What does He have in Jubbaland. Bisad libaax is mooday

Marehan was never fighting for Marehan in Jubbaland, but rather Hawiye in Jubbaland.Murax wrote:Oxymoron is funny. Marehan are barely in this Jubbaland thing yet they have the 2nd position and would get two waziirs. What does He have in Jubbaland. Bisad libaax is mooday

Marehan is Vice President because of Gedo being part of Jubbaland.

The Mayor of Kismayo, Govner of Jubba Hoose iyo the Port is all mine.
