Why did you have to link that question? lol I couldn't bear to leave her with such horrible advice from people who don't even understand our culture so I wrote a long-ass reply but even Y!A thought it was too long so I had to send an email. Depends on the situation. Imagine if she jumped into marriage with a guy who is only Muslim in name so he can be with her, if their relationship ruins the one she has with her parents, and she ends up alone, divorced, in poverty, and with him threatening to take away her children in a few years time. This happened to a relative of mine (worse things as well, which I won't go into because it's too personal). I don't want it happening to someone else.

I couldn't send the email so I had to cut down the post a lot. I'm long-winded but I consider it a gift. Not everyone can ramble on about a topic in a hundred different ways but saying the same thing.

Get married to him, tell your family to accept it or you'll run anyway with him and live with his middle class family who can afford to house you. We have enough Somalis marrying blacks left, right and center who are uneducated hoodrats. Maybe your half-white child can then marry the half-black child and help clear up the overall Somali gene-pool from black/white influences. I say go for it.
