To displace the locals and stake their claim in Hiiraan. The plan didn't work out well though.SecretAgent wrote:Wat was da reason dat sayid put ogs in hiiraan ? Other then drought thy fled
Sahal is this happening during the conference in B/Weyne this month?
Re: defence minister(fiqi) spends his ciid in baladweyne
I heard that conference from you long time ago, its about the political unity, coordination between jaaliyadaha and dhaqanka.
Politicians are free to seek for their interests and use their relations what matters is how and what they can do for their region politically first, the current one is stupid he thought he is there for hassan sheekh and clashed with the elders.
The only region hassan listens very good is hiiraan bc he knows its the only gobol who supports him may be bc of his dialect(last time he was saying amisom cunooyinka ee dadka ka gadan doonta lol). he was going to japan next day and he called the governor and met him and sorted out every thing with him. You can read this for laqaanyo himself.

I was going to post a picture of a 3 story guesthouse meant for diaspora participants I saw someone post on fb but it was taken down for security reasons I think. I guess they are a bit edgy about security and don't want a repeat of the 2009 bombings.
Personally, I don't like the idea of organized and publicized "clan conferences" but it's going to be interesting on what Hawaadle has to say at the end. I just want someone to mention in an official capacity that the FG has the support of Hiiraan and beesha everywhere else

Fiqi needs to go to Baydhaba which is under attack every evening instead of Baladweyne.

I actually agree with Abdiwahab. Government ministers should constantly go on visits to the other regions. There should be high ranking officials flying out to Bay, Bakool, Galgaduud, Mudug, Gedo, Hiiraan, Lower Shabeelle, Middle Shabeelle and any other areas that are supportive of the federal government. People need to be assured that the government is with them. The President and PM should also make a point of visiting and dining with as many regional areas as possible.
The average person who is supportive of the federal government NEEDS to see it from time to time.

Well, fiqi visits baydhabo but there is abit power struggle bc both fiqi and the speaker are from minority they hail from burhakaba to south of it so they don't have great influence on baydhabo but they are winning it...GeoSeven wrote:I actually agree with Abdiwahab.
