What motivates you?

Crippling fear, depression, despair, hopelessness. I belly flop into a pool of nihilism before I grab the ropes of hate, pride, egotism, and I pull myself out. I soldier on with anger in my eyes and hate in my heart. It is a beautiful circle.

Belly flopping into a pool of water is worse. But for you... since, you are "sleek", you would easily go back in time by distorting the time continuum.

I thought about this and realized that I'm rarely motivated. The few times I've accomplished things, feelings like anger, frustration, fear, and panic motivated me since these feelings motivate me to change whatever is making me feel that way. (I'm clearly a procrastinator). In the past (and sometimes today), it can be curiosity, genuine interest, and a desire to learn that motivates me to study, research, read the Qur'an, etc. So I guess that's why I'm so much better with the abstract than the practical or physical.

As I'm answering, I'm learning more about myself. You should be a psychologist, Perfect_Order. lol

The end results are always a motivation.
I'm a bit of a perfectionist so completing tasks is important otherwise I get no sleep at night.
