Perfect Order, Dhaanto, Gabays iyo Galbeed go together. You have no poets of exception very few settle in Hawd but you want to tell us you do Dhaanto..
Dhaanto originates from the Ogaden. They started Dhaanto inorder to locate each other at night when it's dark and enemy might be around. So they develop a primitive yet effective system.
Now it's common knowledge that the Ogaden brain is the size of a marble and when they jump it makes a certain sound bouncing against the thick skull. After sometime they started doing it in weddings. they stand together in line formation each jumping at different times and making a different sound like music notes.
Some iidoors do Dhaanto also having inherited the doqonimo from the Ogaden through their mother side..

Re: Is Dhanto an Ogaden thing?
Marehan is very large clan, I am not too familiar with Reer Cismaan and Celi, but I know my subclan Rer Dalal live in the area used to call doollo, we use heavily inhabit Hawd before moving to Caabudwaaq, we still live in Gelaadi, Wardheer and our settlements such as Cilaanle, Burgeesoole, Liibaxseexye etc.
Dhaanto, Gabay, Abwaano and most of Somali language, culture etc comes from that area in central Somali Galbeed, it spilled into Mudug and Wuqooyi because of camels movement, it isn't unique to any clan, shikhaal, ogaden, dir, Marehan, Majerten, Dhulbahante etc its not tribal thing because Siwaaqroon are Darood but they have nothing to do with this stuff.
