When Darood are in charge, they are AGAINST federalism.

When Hawiye are in charge, they share power with Darood with the sole exception being Mohamed Farah Caydiid (AUN).

The federal system in Somalia is flawed and not even finalized. In a well established Federalist form of governance, population is what determines the weight of a regions say in national matters.
Population doesnt determine jack. Take Israel for example.
Israel is the 51st state of the United States of America

I think somali politics will change for good, if one man vote will be used hopefully in 2016 presidential elections.
As we know somalis are tribal society and after the harsh civil war every person will vote for his clansman. I have no doubt jebertis will be sidelined from presidential position by the two major clans, Hawiyes and D&M who are majority in Somalia, specially in the south where the most somali people live. Minority jebertis 4.5 ayey wax ku ahaayeen, hada ka bacdi isu diyaariya guddomiye baarlamaan.
Allow noo rumeey one man vote !

^^^^Daarood and Digil & Mirif would dominate the political arena if that wish of yours came to frutation.
Hawiye suffered the most in the civil war when body counts are taken into the equation.
To this date, the battles are being fought in Hawiye majority territories.

BTW, my statement does not mean anyway that other clans didn't suffer as well.

Sxb every clan has suffered in the civil war laakiin the most suffered clan was D&M. They died in masses in the 1992 and 2011 drougths.
The Hawiye population in Banaadir only is at least 2 times bigger than the whole jeberti population in Somalia. Dhul kalaba iska dhaaf.
You are minority, just accept it.

Hawiye population in Benadiir Kulaha.
There is alot of Dir, DigiL and Mirifle, Darood and above all Jareerweyn living in the region. Since they are divided they have no say but are infact a majority in Xamar.Hawiye youth have been busy killing each other in the past 2 decades. Today most people who visit Xamar bear witness that the demographics are infavour of Somali Jareer.Every shanty or street or market place they dominate. Its only in Villa Somalia and Isbaaros would you see a true Hawiyeh. Reminds me of Amhara claimming Addis Ababa is majority Amhara when they would base their stats on Amhara speakers and not Amhara ethnic group.
Its time communities in Benadir got a fair representation.

Drove from Bossaso to Galkayo, back and from Garowe too Hargeisa.
Burco to Berbera and down again to Hargeisa.
Can't go to central south and deep south because of death being a normality in those areas due to the population being habituated to murder.

The misconception of Puntland being a barren wastelands is false. If that is so then the whole Togdheer would be. Bari as a whole has much less Kayn but in actuality the environment is similar, but Togdeer is superior - but its shared land.....
Nugaal has the best water (with Sool) in the whole of North Somalia, due to the Nugaal Valley and various togs. Hargeisa has water shortages as experienced TODAY with water only being available every 4 days, yet it rains most days. Somalia being black and white is a misconception.

Settlements in Puntland and 'Somali----lands' are similar. However Somali----lands is more populated due to It being shared land by 3/4 clans - Dir and Harti. Both states are filled with Tuulos. This is a fact. Fact.

Inshah'Allah on my return trip I will photograph every single settlement from HAG too Garowe and Garowe to Bossaso.
Puntland is about 3.2 million from official estimates so Somali-----lands by taking a educated analysis may be about 4 million.
