I guess we have different mindsets, I value some lands over others because God chose them to be holy, and killing in those lands is much more grave. For example, blood splilt in Mecca or Medina is much worst than blood spilt elsewhere, same with Ash-Sham.
But I guess you wouldn't understand because we are not in the same theological level.
