Indeed things don't look right for the pretend regime in the North. No matter how much they lie, conceal, hide, deceive the truth will always remain that the Somali is one and their problems are uniform from Ras Kamboni to the edges of Djibouti. Some more troubled than others. Death is also natural part of life and nothing to brag about or use it against others. Let us pray for the brother who was gunned down indiscriminately by thugs. AUN is better than all the garbage above.

The Somali people are in their land and there is no such thing as "northerner" or Southerner did this and that. The innocent man was a Somali killed by his own flesh and blood. The Sool conflict between HY, HJ, Ahmed Naleye, Jama Siyad is not any different...brothers who are thirsty and hungry gunning each others down because the system has collapsed. There is no government in North Somalia or the South. The miserable life for the Somali continues.

Let us be realistic and address the issues without being emotional or being clouded by tribal animosity and rivalry.

Waqooyi is not any better than the south. Abdi wears his simple macaawis every morning whether he wakes up in Mogadishu or Hargeisa and he ventures out to find some bread whether its called furun or muufo it don't matter.

Somalis as an ethnic group face similar problems and their economic reality is comparable, nonetheless that doesn't mean we face the same problems. To give you some evidence, a year after unification Cabdulaahi Suldaan Timacadde (AUN) said in a poem;

I assume you understand Somali and if you don't well this poem emphasizes the new problems that came with unification. Problems that didn't exist in Somaliland. Mainly economic inequality and no political representation.

Why would reer Somaliland repeat the same mistakes?
