its going be difficult to raise kids regardless, but you have to trust yourself that you would treat all of them equally.

you said "but for people like us we should feel obliged to adopt a child of simliar race to us because they need us...rite" this is exactly my sentiment, i dont have a problem adopting kids of other races but i feel i should adopt a somali because i am one and the problem of abandoned kids as mohawk said is my problem too.

I dont know why we somalis tend to be pre-occupied by things we are supposedly not allowed to do in islam and forget all the things we are allowed/required to to do such being kind to each other, repectfulness, humility, etc ect? if we focused on these things our society would not be in such dire straits instead we are constantly asking questions about what we should do with adulterers, non hijab wearing women,kafirs etc etc? excuse me how many times in our life times have we actually witnessed adultery being commited? or adulturers being stonned?
