That's a funny analogy!  But seriously though its ingrained in Somali culture back home to get
"lower caste" people to do manual labor when ever possible! I was in Jig Jiiga a few years ago & every Somali household seemed to have Habasha maid or servant boy! I would imagine its the same thing across the border! ;)

The Bantu maids shouldn't be the ones who live in Somalia... they should be Sudanese people or something

The Bantu ethnic group of Somalia still deal with harsh treatment to the extent that they are being treated as slaves. Nearly all laborers are Bantu, they receive the most little wage ever and some don't even get paid. All the cleaners in the hotels are Bantus and nearly all ethnic Somali that live in Mogadishu have a Bantu maid, some even have them through force

Fyi, bantus live in burco, lascanod and bosaso too. They are referred to as jareer and treated badly. The biggest populations exist in the south. They are not in slavery. Many of them have jobs which they do normally get paid for. My aunties house was.built by a somali bantu businessman and his children. There is no slaves in.somalia.

Why should I lie about Bantus?

They are the poorest ethnic group in Somalia a minor Somali clan is more wealthier than a Bantu. But also they are used as laborer throughout the big cities of Somalia. They are used as Maid and Farmers. Aslong as they get paid it is fine, however sadly some are forced to work in these conditions.

Why did you ignore the largest slave trader in the region the Saudi Kingdom?? The Arabs have a long brutal & bloody history as slave traders!! Many of you are scared to call them out because of (Arab Guilt) ??? They've manged to get Somalis & other African Muslims to keep silent about Arab abuses because some how Arab equals Islam??? These devil worshiping savages have manged to dupe a billion & half people to into submission & to do their bidding?? Notice how the the definition of Islam & the obedient "Submission" of Muslims to "Arab Superiority" are parallel??? The sooner you come to terms with this the better!! ;)

We should convince the Tanzanian government or some other Bantu country to take them in. We could possibly even try to find out the original tribe they descend from before Arabs brought them to Somalia. Honestly they'd be much better off in their ancestral homeland so it'll be a win-win situation lol

I'm not a Arab, i'm Somali. Go to an Arab and debate them with that. I made this thread to call to my own people from slavery. I'm aware of Arab harsh treatment on Black Africans and Ethiopians and Eritreans. Hopefully they will end it. But one thing you must get your mind from is that Arab is not Islam.

I don't think that is possible. Bantus have been in Somalia for over 100 years. They call Somalia their home, we cannot kick them out of the country. Somalia belongs to them too. We should treat them with respect as they are our fellow Muslims but also Somali citizens. They deserve equal rights and better treatment socially.

Somalis are a racist xenophobic people, let's get real here. We've discriminated against Madhibaans and Tumaals who physically look no different from us for hundreds of years iskabadaa ee the Bantus who are physically and and in a lot of aspects culturally different. Think about it, this would actually be better for them, I mean this is Somalia we are talking about , a country like Tanzania is miles better than it, they'd go to a better more racially friendly country, I can't see anything negative about it tbh. I mean a good percentage of the Arabs of Somalia did exactly that, they went back to Yemen and so on I don't see why Somali Bantus can't do the same.

Somalis are very tribalistic xenophobic folks bro, there is a good chance if Bantu population in the future increases and mariyooley Somalis feel "threatened" in any way something like what happened in Rwanda could really happen so we honestly need to think about this.
