During my two years of living in Mogadishu. I have realised slavery is still alive and occurs in Somalia. Particularly Mogadishu and surrounding areas. Fyi, bantus live in burco,lascanod and bosaso too. They are referred to as jareer and treated badly. The biggest populations exist in the south. They are not in slavery.
