Because they are trying to get maximum political mileage out of it. They complain so that other Muslims around the world (look here on the net if you need more evidence) will continue to bitch about how America is "killing innocent Muslims". The name of the game is to foster as much anti-American sentiment as possible. How that is achieved is irrelevent to them.

The "Mujahdin" will lose. Do you know why? Because they don't have a political position. They don't have a negotiating position. They leave us no choice but to fight, and since we can fight better and more effectively than they (all they can ever seem to do is blow up vacation spots - on the open battlefield they die and die quicky), well, you can see where that leads. On top of that, they aren't fighting for God. It's a joke. They are fighting for selfish reasons. It's the poor tools in the ranks who have been convinced to blow themselves up. The problem with your line of reasoning is this, when the world is divided into two camps it is going to be the one camp that is thoroughly outfitted with nuclear weapons and the means to deliver them, and one that has hardly any or no weapons and no means to deliver them. You see where this leads.

ONLY Russia has nuclear weapons. None of the stans have nuclear weapons. Pakistan has the bomb, but very limited numbers of war heads and even more limited delivery systems. No delivery systems that can reach Europe or the States. Iran doesn't yet have nuclear weapons, but when it does, it still will lack the delivery systems.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, three quarters of the world is non-Muslim, the US, Russia, China, India, and Europe are all arrayed against you. Do the math.
