I didn't click the clip, I don't have the nerves to watch such sight! But why did he kill himself and why attempts were not made to safe him?

It isn't scary. Basically, the man in question is like a mannequin (didn't move even 1mm in any direction, his skin is different, it's like a corpse), someone pours gas on him, and he goes in flames. Law enforcement officers are present there, perhaps to dissuade anyone from attempting to stop it. Why did it happen? I believe, for political reasons.Navy9 wrote:I didn't click the clip, I don't have the nerves to watch such sight! But why did he kill himself and why attempts were not made to safe him?

Good channels! No really, sorry. I pick a topic I am interested in and try to read about it as much as I can from any available source I come across.hyperactive wrote:navy i was looking for you.lol. lately, im addicted youtube programs, such history series and sociology researches. can you recommend good channels?
I am now digging on health topic, how to maintain your PH body level, and benefits of wheatgrass juice.

PS: Sorry OP, sue Hyper for being off topic.

...and the freshwater dolphins [pink/blue]...amazing

This monk must've already gotten a lethal injection prior to being burnt. No way in hell can someone bare such painful ordeal without so much as a twitch.

Hyper & Navy, I encourage you to watch it, it is truly amazing, and not like other videos. It is awe inspiring, and a tribute to this great man. I do not agree with his actions, but I am extremely impressed by his resolve and determination. It is not like those sick movies, that I have never watched because I don't have the stomach for them. Basically this is a Buddhist monk during the Vietnam war, who is trying to alert the world to the extreme suffering of his people. So he uses a very extreme method to show that the suffering he will go through is less than the suffering that many many people in Vietnam are going through, and the situation has to be stopped. Monks did this a lot to shock the world into doing something.
He does this in the eyes of other monks and some police officers, despite his masters objections and some monks trying to stop him. The police, I believe, didn't make an attempt to stop him and stopped others from stopping him because they knew he would do it anyway and that they didn't want other people to get hurt trying to stop him. In the end, everyone is completely impressed with him, that they all bow to him including the police officers.
