Alpha, Iftin band had some famous female singers singing in songs like Caashaqa Maxay Baray with Sahro Dawo:



Too bad a lot of the cool new music trends died on the vine because of the fall of the country. Iftin was started as an initiative of the Ministry of Education and Culture along with a few other bands.

Iftin was a great band, legends like Zulfa before he became a wadaad and quit, Jeeri and Habib Sharabi. Female singers included Luul Jeylaani.
