Yeah their oil resources gave them the income and cash flow to transform their society in a exporting hub in that area of East Asia.
But yeah today their success relies on their brains, however petroleum has helped them.
The Khaleeji Arabs are still in stage 1, selling their resources directly for cash and bottom dollar to certain WASP nations.
