Goodness no, you've got it all wrong. Each state is suppose to set up their own health exchanges that is totally separate from other states. Now states aren't mandated to set up a health exchange but if they refuse to do so then the federal government will set it up for them. Half the states have refused to do so, therefore the people of those states must use the federal government exchange website, which is the one that has been on the news. But it turns out our state exchange is riddled with as many problems as the federal one. smh

Uk health service is not free....we pay for it through our National Insurance contributions.
It`s only free at the point of use.

Even our student loans are better than what the yanks have....imagine being $100,000s in debt.
£30,000 doesn`t seem so bad now.

I won`t even mention the gun/drug crazed population.

The public has little or no idea to what it means, sad....Plus the healthcare seems to stand against it, and politicians who might advocate for it are all bought and paid for to support the status quo, smh. Obama didn't even try to go the single-payer route and his ACA "public option" died on the vine.

It's a shame because single-payer would save healthcare literally lots of $$$ while providing better outcomes. The US is now paying lots of money per capita per year for healthcare, whereas in Canada they pay waaaay less per year per capita, and get better outcomes, and every Canadian is covered.
