Basra...well it isn't fake sentiment sweetheart, he was the Black Gandhi and wanted peaceful co-existence. He never believed in fighting fire with fire, case in point he forgave his former apartheid enemies. That's a very humane and difficult thing to do. Many will say it's not serving justice to do that but when he gained his freedom, he stepped up on that platform and said 'let bygones be bygones'.
