That makes sence, laakiin going back to somalia this 2 clans produced some of the wielthiest individuals, such as jirde Hussien and uunlaaye, this 2 bussiness man dominated bussiness-ka soomaalida since independence.
Another reason this clans settled along the coast, had acces to sea, they are traditionally bussiness minded folks which they inherited from thu forefathers.

The British has nothing to do with self-made Millionaires. Halal money expands further than it's counterpart.guhad122 wrote:I don't want to change this into clan bashing as this is a very good thread but the reason those two clans are doing good in east African businesses has something to do with their close relationships with the British. Remember that many Hartis and Isaaqs established businesses and residences in many parts of east Africa especially Kenya, Tanzania and Ugandha. For example, there are huge Isaaq and Harti Kenyans who basically have no connections to the NFD as they came as Askaris back in the second world war with the British.caaddil wrote:The companies posted hera, waa harti iyo isaaq as far as aan ogahey.

The British provided education, civilization and governance and these rich people's ancestors took advantage of that. Nothing wrong with that

Guhad no offense, but you're mistaken. The British did very little for the northern clans. On the flipside they also took very little too. The north was a small trading outpost compared to places like Kenya and uganda. This was due to an agreement where the northern clans expected only trade in meat, hide etc. Compare that to the more pervasive presence of the Italians in xamar.
