One of those father-son moments that many people don't have. It's touching, Phil was more a father to Will than the other guy.

Judge Phillips was the best judge Belair ever had, and one of the greatest tv actors ever, I especially loved his Jazz interactions.

the whole scene after his dad left was improvised on the spot (will was suppose to storm off) even the camera man aiming at the sculpture to finish off the scene was brilliant!

Uncle Phil is being mourned by blacks everywhere, he was the only father figure for a majority of African American young men who grew up in single homes.
