Djibouti waa naago who can't even move out of their bases without Sierra Leonean or Ethiopian support. Eritrea ran all over them in 2008. They are a useful port for business and moving arms and supplies to bomb Somalia, that's all.

Stop trolling the mans topic. Djibouti acquired quite a lot of Humvees from the US in 2005 and some of the vehicle have already been deployed to Beledweyne with the first contingent.

Sahal, even with all the rhetoric of liberating the rest of the region, I really doubt any moves will be made toward Bulo Burde til after the elections in Hiiraan. they are shit, they are responsible for the deaths of thousands of US servicemen in Iraq and Afghanistan.
One clue you should look at is the last year of iraq deployment, go look at any archive videos or photos of Humvees from that period.
The servicemen hated those things, and they kept adding plate armour till they became unstable.
Look at afghanistan today and tell me if you see a humvee, they are replaced by SOuth african vehicles or copies of them.
The Nato allies like the germans did not suffer much losses even after experiencing the same level of attacks because they stuck with the Marder.

Humveee is shit, and is even more shit in the somali environment because its a fuel hog.
