As for Mogadishu its majority Hawiye Mudulood its their ancestral home land though Mogadishu had a wave of different cultures and ethnics the past thousand years Persians Yemeni Arabs. Though we can say demographics change a bit in Mogadishu not allot a bit , there was a sizable darood community in xamar back in the days and isaaq and other Somalis. But even excluding them Mogadishu still is the most populated Somali city .
