Ultimately both Marehan and Ogaden will lose if this zero sum scenario happens. If Fartag/Madoobe came to blows it would spell the absolute end of this J/land thing as it would be perfect fodder for Anti Federalists to say 'See, this is why We cannot implement Federalism'. That said Madoobe should not overplay His hand, as the Kenyans will not be around forever to coddle Him.

Wake me up when Barre holds the key to Kismayo and Madoobe's head is on a plate.

Voltage wrote:Al Shabaab kicked him out with some little outfits called Mucaskar Caanoole, Ras Kamboni, and Marehan Al Itihad. Less than a month later after Ras Kamboni tried to ask for a cut of Kismaayo port, Al Shabaab and Marehan Al Itihad sent them to the duur.

But how did Marehan even come to control there again after they lost it to the ICU in 2006 which lost it to the Ethiopians and Abdullahi Yusuf in 2007? Because as soon as the Ethiopians withdrew, Marehan expelled Abdullahi Yusuf's Ogaden/Harti administration led by Col Koojaar and Col Afgaduud. They held the town as a clan with our elders presiding as city council.

No clan can do that if Kismaayo is left entirely to clan control except for ours.

Now I want peace and I want peace and a excellent relation between Marehan and their Ogaden brothers, but I am not sure why you guys act surprise when we say we don't accept the Kenyan project. We have never accepted it and you shouldn't be surprised when we are against him.

As for what I said, just today there are multiple websites reporting what I said yesterday.

Here is Bare himself saying he was kicked out not AS but by a clan. Is he lying or are you?
You are a such a liar! Do you think 2008 is a long time ago for you to be inventing shit up like this? We kicked your marathon runner uncle and he fled day light leaving his wives and kids behind. Listen to the video as he says he was fed by people as he travelled down the jungle. Barre came with cayr guns to start with and everyone knows as a clan you have never held anything worthy of a mention in the juba areas . You need to stop beating the drums for a a war in which you will lose.

Ileen waxa waa baby. I was in Garissa when Barre made that interview. Have you ever hearf of "guubaabo". Barre was trying to unite Marehan behind him know especially at that time there were many Al Shabaab sympathesizers in Marehan. Remember Al Shabaab was considered "good then" and right after Kismaayo the organization took over all of Gedo peacefully.

Barre could not target Shabaab because he would not get support from Marehan. However, he could target a clan and Marehan would rise behind him.

Again, in 2008 a union of Shabaab primarily and a small collection of Mucaskar Caanoole, Ras Kamboni, and Marehan removed him. The topics from that time are evem on here.

Three months later an alliance of Shabaab and Marehan removed Ras Kamboni from Kismaayo. There are wikileaks about this kiddo.

Voltage, was it not the Ogaden commander Sheikh Hassan Turki that chased Hiraale's JVA in 06? JVA fled without a fight hence the marathon runner legend was born

Meanwhile still no sign that you're latest prediction is coming to fruition as Liwa Ras Kamboni is flexing its muscle in the city following HSM's assassination.

There were two parts of Ras Kamboni, One leaded by Ahmed Madoobe who were allied to Hizbul islam and the other part were leaded by Sheikh Hassan Al-Turki, Sheikh Hassan and Al shabab were allies it where them who made madoobe run away from kismayo not marehans, they fled away with barre hiiraale.

Honestly speaking in L Jubba politics Ogaden might have been the weakest group, definitely weaker than Gaaljecel, Cawaramle and others They had to join ICU, AS to fight Barre Hiiraale, and the ironic thing is that same AS with Marehan sent Madoobe back to Kenya within 2 hours When He tried to even think about a position in Kismayo. That's When He offered Himself to the Kenyans and came back with the Kenyan Army.

Barre Hiiraale's fight with AS lasted 3 full days. Ogaden's fight with AS lasted 2 hours. Barre Hiiraale ruled Kismayo for 10 years with zero foreigners. Ogaden, never had a presence in the town without KDF let alone ruling it. Debating these Ogaden kids is moronic.
