Not the whole issue, but I believe it's a major factor. Have you seen videos of extremists wackos? They're delusional, the whole lot of them. They play songs which reminisce about Islamic days of old or Quranic verses praising those who persevere and fight the apostates in the backgrounds while killing and indulging in savage acts and murdering innocents, proclaiming at the same time loudly that God is great with a genuine smile on their faces as if they're at the pinnacle of spiritual ecstasy.
