The sheikh (or Islamic agency) in Dubai who issued the fatwa is probably sufi; he's the type of sheikh who issues fatwas against suicide bombing. I think you're barking at the wrong tree as your obsession with wahhabis/salafis is clouding your judgement.

It seems you're trying to cherry-pick one individual clerk!! Isn't suicide one of the most pressing issues facing UMAH today?
