OK. Your comment was conspiracy laden.

Ideologically, there's no difference between the two. Al-Qaeda was influenced among others Sayid Qutb & al-Zawahiri, both part of the MB. The MB was at one time engaged in violence, but stopped to try coming to power through a democratic process. Inevitably, it's now back to violence.

Obviously, you don't know much about the MB. The Egyptian government knows more than you do. Just as the SFG knows al-Shabaab isn't different from al-Qaeda, the Egyptian government knows the MB isn't different from al-Qaeda.

Ikhwans and Salafi are basically the same today except that the latter is much more militant in achieving their goals. Ikhwans will work underground for 500 years if they have to whereas the Salafi simply doesnt have the patience to become dominant. They like to cut corners. Salafi are also starting to become more humanitarian these days although no where as close to the Ikhwan but they are adopting it. Ikhwan and Salafi core principles are almost the same, the Salafi is just much more likely to use violence or intimidation. They are also very condescending. Take a listen to Abu Mussab and how he speaks. Salafi will not win your over speech but over insulting and acting like he is one of the original apostles

Let me guess, beheading people, cutting of limps, raping women and killing children is part of their global humanitarian outreach program? :scusthov:
