fyi many websites including radiomuqdisho have been saying for years that Al shabaab went bankrupt.

Maleeshiyada Al-Shabaab ayaa waxaa bilihii ugu dambeeyay soo food saartay dhaqaale xumo
2013, Sonna.net

- Dhaqaale xumo laga dhaxlay dagaaladii dheeraa ee ka dhacay Muqdisho, Gedo iyo Jubooyinka
2011,horseedmedia.

Kooxda Alshabaab oo dhaqaale ay ku hawl galaan ka codsatay haweenka Somaaliyeed kadib markii ay soo waajahday dhaqaale xumo aad u daran
2013, shiniilenews.

Shabaab oo dhaqaalo xumo darteed u hakiyey dagaalada Muqdisho,
2010. Markacadey.net

Now whose the emotional one sahal?
If I made the title al shabaab are without military equipments would this have sounded the same? For sure no!

I only made it the reason of getting bankrupt, I have even mentioned and connected this with losing mogadishu and other big markets and ports but the military findings and the subject on the hand are totally different!

This is why I'm here having big problem with some guys like you who can't even get the political analysis let alone making it!!
"According to a serious report that is kept within the security circles, soon as many areas were liberated, they found out that al shabaab are totally lacking vehicles, trucks or any transportation means!

They use to deploy a lot of camiras from different angles when recording their military exhebitions!

Besides bringing a lot of vechicles from different regions and gether them together in one town to make it look bigger!

The fact is that every town had no more than 3 to 4 or 5 vehicles!

As for the villages, some have been controlled only by 20 guys!

Some of the villages had only three guys but when they would encounter a problem they will make call to the town and then a vehicle full of al shabaab will arrive to punish those who were not obeying their orders!!

Al shabaab have went bankrupt since they lost their big markets and ports a year and half ago and were only depending on the farmers and nomads livestock plus the port town barawe after their arab, and somali diaspora financiers.

To give you a clue, now there are many villages that are run by al shabaab guys yet are not able to attack the SNA in the towns because they were from where they use to get the help!!

A revolution may start in these villages that are still under al shabaabs rule as the towns are in the govts hands!

So far, every town has been captured because of al shabaab not having good vechicles, amisom and SNA will come from three directions and they were not able to resist!

Some times al shabaab would pull out!!"

Amisom can finish al shabaab in one month but they don't want!

These countries provide free training for their amies ahead of their deployment in somalia, free military scholarship for their officers, they do rotation...etc

The SNA was lacking military equipments, good training but now after amisom was forced by the west to go ahead with their last year operations they started supporting to equip the SNA and offering for them all the logistics to prevent such great loss among their troops.

SXB sahal, finishing ashabaab in a fast space of tme isn't in the favour of the SFG, Let Amisom pre-occupy themselves with ashabaab and guard the SFG interests within Somalia , while we (SFG) prepare our army, and gather the necessary finance to facilitate the post-ashabaab liberation operations.

We must prepare ourselves, before we get rid of ashabaab, because ashabaab is the only card we (SFG) have to get world backing.

disagree!

Firstly the terror is a terror and al shabaab will still be there as a terror but as military power or governors!

The more the govt secures more regions the more they halt their dual-track policy!

The more other countries show respect to the govt

If this govt only had an army that is enough to secure between mogadishu-barawe, mogadishu-baladweyne-mogadishu baydhaba, then all the bordering countries would have respected her.
